The KODEX Holzhandels GmbH was founded in 1981 by Konrad Dettendorfer senior. At the beginning the company was focused on distribution and trading of hardwood, above all beech and oak timber. In the last years the market situation has changed much so we had to adapt and enhance our product range, so that now nearly exclusive softwood is distributed. KODEX works as agency and trading company and offers high quality wood products from our long-term and authentic suppliers from Germany, Austria and Scandinavia. Furthermore all our products are made out of roundwood from well managed forests. Because of that, not only us, but also all our suppliers are certified PEFC or FSC.

With every buy at KODEX you support the sustainable management of the european forests and avoid lillegal destructive exploitation and the destruction of our environment.
